If there’s one way to describe this shoot, it’s this—dark, dramatic, slightly dangerous (okay, not really… but it felt like it), and insanely fun. Our “Fight Club” themed party wasn’t just inspired by the cult classic Fight Club—it was our way of reimagining that raw, underground energy with our own twist. And trust us, we didn’t just recreate scenes… we created our own story.
This reel shoot was powered by a tight crew of five, each playing a crucial role. In front of the camera, we had three characters bringing the narrative to life—Vayu stepping into the iconic shoes of Tyler Durden (and absolutely owning the attitude), Saransh portraying Richard Chesler, and Aditya playing a completely original, imaginary character scripted by us. That was the real game-changer. Instead of doing a copy-paste version, we decided to inject our own creativity into the storyline—something fresh, something unpredictable, something Nivs. Behind the scenes, Kunal handled the camera like a pro, capturing every gritty detail, while Joy took charge of direction, making sure every frame hit exactly the way we imagined.
Now let’s talk about the real fun—the BTS chaos.
The shoot took place on a dark, empty road, which already set the mood perfectly… but also made things just a little scary. Add to that the cold weather, minimal lighting, and actors trying to perform under a single light source—it was a challenge. The lighting was so focused that the actors could barely see the camera, which made acting even tougher. But honestly, that struggle added to the rawness of the performance.
And then came that moment.
In one of the scenes, Vayu was supposed to fake-punch Saransh. Simple, right? Yeah… not really. The punch landed straight into Saransh’s stomach—for real. For a second, everyone froze… and then burst out laughing. Saransh was genuinely hurt, but the situation was so unexpected that we just couldn’t stop laughing. Safe to say, that take was unforgettable (and probably the most “real” fight club moment of the night).
There were also multiple scenes where we had to do take after take just to get things perfect. Angles, timing, expressions—everything had to align. It wasn’t easy, especially with the cold and low visibility, but no one backed down. Between serious takes, there were constant jokes, random conversations, and those “one more try” moments that somehow turned into ten more tries.
That’s the thing about shoots like this—it’s never just about the final output. It’s about the process, the teamwork, and all those small, chaotic, hilarious moments that happen in between.
And in the end? It all paid off.
The reel turned out exactly how we envisioned—raw, cinematic, and powerful. But what made it even better was the response. The audience loved it. Like, really loved it. The reel crossed 115K+ reach and was shared over a thousand times, which for us was more than just numbers—it was validation that our creativity connected.
This wasn’t just a shoot. It was an experience. One cold, chaotic, creatively charged night where everything came together perfectly—even the mistakes.
